Padres' Kouzmanoff leaves game with injury

06/14/2007 - St. Petersburg, FL (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - San Diego Padres third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff left Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays with a lower back strain.

The 25-year-old left in the fourth inning after flying out to right field. He was replaced by Geoff Blum and is officially listed as day-to-day.

Kouzmanoff, who was riding a seven-game hitting streak, is batting .227 with five home runs and 28 RBI in 55 games this season. He went 4-for-10 with a homer and three RBI and in the three-game series with Tampa Bay.
